3 Summer Essentials for your Closet

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I find that when it comes to dressing for summer, it is the most effortless of all seasons. These are just a few of my favorite summer must haves that you need in your closet.
The first thing I need when the temperature starts to rise is a good pair of shorts. Im not talking about gym shorts I'm talking about some real kick-ass summer shorts. My go to is a vintage pair of Levi cut offs. These are the perfect shorts to compliment any T-shirt and pair of sneakers. They give off an effortless vibe. Sizing can be tricky sense they are vintage and can be worn out, but I've found that using a shoelace for a belt works just find and fits in with the effortless summer vibe. When it comes to summer comfort is key. Thats why I always have a pair of espadrilles lined up for the summer time. Espadrilles are part of my summer essentials for a number of reason. First they are super comfortable and perfect for days at the pool or grabbing lunch at the local market. They are also very breathe-able which is important for those hot summer days. This last one is for your closet/ bathroom. It's not summer without the sun. The damaging UV rays from the sun can add wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation and signs of aging to your face. Thats why it is so important to use a spf product daily. Putting on sunscreen should not be a chore. My favorite sunscreen SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen is so fun to put on. It is a soft consistency and melts into your face. No greasy white sunscreen mess! Best of all it is spf 40. Save your face and grab a bottle.
