Spring Fling

After experiencing one of the coldest Southern California winters on record, I am happy to announce that spring is just four weeks away. If you are anything like me, you relish the days you can go outside wearing only a t shirt and shorts. I am so over having to bundle up every-time I step outside. Even taking the dog out seems like an endeavor into the Arctic Tundra. With temperatures on the rise, I think now is the perfect time to share some of my favorite pieces for spring. I was at Neiman Marcus the other day picking up a cologne, when I saw their new spring collection. I was drawn to the bright colors, playful patterns and use of textiles that had a great hand to them.
Blue Sky Inn
I had never heard of this brand prior to my last trip to Neiman Marcus. I was drawn to one of their button down shirts and matching shorts. Blue Sky Inn is one of the newest brands I happened to stumble upon, founded in 2021. One thing that is unique about this brand is that it was created by a few high profile individuals in the fashion industry who wish to remain anonymous. They want the aesthetic and designs to speak for themselves. The shirt and short set that I saw at the store is currently sold out online, however other department stores have a few similar styles available online. RHUDE
RHUDE offers another playful matching set. Their version comes with a twist, it is made of a woven cotton. The matching shirt and shorts are perfect for spring and are sure to wow at any event. Be it brunch, a polo match, or a quick trip to the farmers market, RHUDE has you covered. This set is sure to get many uses as it can be both dressed up and down, making it an incredibly versatile option for your wardrobe. RHUDE is still a relatively new brand, founded in 2015 in Los Angeles by Rhuigi Villaseñor. Vilebrequin
One of my favorite swimwear brands, Vilebrequin has many gorgeous pieces to offer this spring season. The iconic brand was founded in 1971 by Fed Prysquel, a renowned photographer and Yvette, a fashion designer. The brand was created in Saint Tropez, and that island feeling is DNA of their brand. My favorite pieces that I spotted at Neiman Marcus were the Organic Terry Polo Shirt in Rouille and the Moorea Octopus Print Swim Trunks, both are available online at Neiman Marcus. Together, the shirt and short make an incredibly handsome look those spring days by the pool. In my opinion, this is the classiest spring look on out list, while the others are a bit more playful.
Overall, spring is a time for color and fun, so whatever you wear, have fun with it!
