St. Barths is truly one of the most beautiful and unique islands on the planet. Mega yachts line the white sand beaches adjacent to luxury stores. I had the opportunity to visit St. Barths along with many other islands in the West Indies. The beauty of the island is reflected in its cuisine. I ate my way across the island and was in love with every bite. Below are my favorite restaurants for a perfect day in St. Barths.
Panninis with a View
If breakfast is your thing, be sure to check out Bar de L'Oubli. This cafe is located a block away from the ocean. I came here every morning to enjoy the view and ordered fresh squeezed orange juice with a ham and swiss panini. If you are traveling by yacht, you can use the internet here too! The combination of the salty ham panini and sweet orange juice can’t be beat.
Stepping it up for Lunch
Lunch time! My favorite place on the island to lunch is Nikki Beach. Nikki Beach is an exclusive beach club found only in the most cosmopolitan areas. The tables are on the sand, barefoot dining encouraged. The best thing to order for lunch is the lobster salad with a mimosa. This place is not the cheapest lunch spot, but I guarantee you will remember the food and the views forever.
Dance the Night Away
For a dinner experience like no other check out Casa. This restaurant doubles as a nightclub, so be sure to dress to impress. Situated on a hill, Casa overlooks the Gustavia Harbor featuring breathtaking views. I had an absinthecocktail that came to the table on fire! For dinner I went all out and had the fillet mignon with black truffle butter. Cooked to medium rare perfection, it is one of the best things I have ever eaten.
St. Barths is one of the most exclusive beautiful places I have visited. Days spent at the beaches, followed by nights at high end nightclubs. So what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and get eating!
